Bethany School

Bethany School We are a small, independent Christian family school. We promote a biblical approach to knowledge and learning for children from reception to GCSEs.

The aims of Bethany School are to provide a distinctly biblical approach to knowledge and learning. Parents are expected to actively participate in the education of their children both at home and at school. We provide each child with a biblical understanding, which will equip them for practical living in the world and encourage their awareness of spiritual and eternal realities.

A milestone start to a milestone year!

This week we welcomed our pupils back for the start of a very special school year — Bethany’s 40th anniversary year!

And what better way to begin than by welcoming our 500th pupil amongst this year’s new starters.

Pictured with our Head Teacher and Deputy Head is new starter Eli, who has a particularly special connection to Bethany — he is the son of a former Bethany pupil, and the grandson of one of our former Head Teachers.

From one generation to the next, and now 500 pupils and 40 years of Bethany — there’s lots to celebrate this year!

A very warm welcome to Eli, his classmates, and all our new pupils. Here’s to a wonderful 40th anniversary year!

We're really looking forward to welcoming you tomorrow at our Christmas Fair. The building has been spruced up (thanks to a parents' Work Party last weekend) the halls have been decked & the pupils were in fine voice for the final rehearsal today. Bakers, crafters & cooks have all been busy, so please do come & join us. The children will be performing "The Christmas Playlist" at 10:30 & 11:30. See you there!

It's beginning to look a lot like... 🤐... not yet! Mrs. Ireland assures us it's just a Winter woodland tree. Obviously, because Rec/Y1 are looking at the story of 'Owl Babies' by Martin Waddell this week.
However, watch this space for Christmas info coming soon..

We hope you all enjoyed this Easter weekend. We were able to see our resurrection gardens in bloom, which we made as a reminder of the story of Jesus' death and resurrection.
