πŸŽ“ This week, a group of our first-year students visited The University of Cumbria to gain a real insight into what studying sport at university could look like.

πŸ” The day began with an interactive sports rehab session, where students explored the anatomy and treatment of an ankle injury through practical case studies. In the afternoon, they headed to the sports centre to take part in a series of fitness tests, learning about the physical demands of sports science. πŸ’ͺπŸ“Š

A big thank you to The University of Cumbria for providing such a valuable opportunity for our students. πŸ™Œ

It's been a brilliant week for our Sport students at the Centre of Sporting Excellence, with learners enjoying a range of exciting opportunities.

πŸ‘Ÿ A group of our second-year female students visited UCFB, taking part in workshops including Sports Psychology, CV Writing and Personal Statements, while also hearing from alumni about the pathways available within the industry.

⚽ Our football team were also in superb form, producing an excellent display to secure a 6-0 win over Tranmere Rovers, with Jaiden named Man of the Match. πŸ‘

πŸ… Several students also represented us in the annual Lancashire Skills Competition, where they took on challenges in officiating, coaching and problem solving.

We are incredibly proud of all of our students for the way they represented us throughout the week. 🌟
