Sunflower Childrens Centre

Did you know that all our staff have face to face paediatric training and that has gained us our Millie’s Mark award. Rebecca (who also does our children’s classes) is putting some staff to the test this evening as they update their Paediatric first aid qualification 🌻

Just a reminder that Sunflower Children’s Centre is closed tomorrow as a mark of respect for the Queen’s Funeral. We will re-open Tuesday as normal 🌻

We are really pleased to announce that JWP training will be coming to Sunflowers to deliver a family first aid session! This will be £20 per adult. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to book a place as sessions are filling up fast! This is open to all local families not just Sunflowers so please share 🌻

Today Phonics Bear came in to do the first class of the term with some of our Pre-School children. They had lots of fun and ended the session by painting their very own plant pot!🌻

As we join the nation in the mourning of our beloved monarch Queen Elizabeth ll we will be forever grateful that our children will have had the privilege to say she was ‘their Queen’ and to be part of her legacy. May she rest in peace and rise in glory 🌻

The last of our Pre-School children left today and as sad as we are to see them all go we can’t wait to see them all in their uniforms next week!!! We would love to see photos or for you to pop by in the week. Lots of luck to every single one of you and to all the mums and dads doing their first school run Monday morning!!! Some of the children went on a walk today to explore the local area! They had lots of fun on their “adventure” as they called it!🌻

The sun is shining so that means one thing at Sunflowers…the pools are filled and the water balloons are out!🌻

We have had lots of lovely new starters in our baby room over the last few weeks! We are super impressed with how well they have settled in - look at that smile!🌻

Those who have been coming through the holidays may have noticed a new face at Sunflowers! Dave is working with us through the holidays and despite being here just a few days, he has a lot of new fans with all of our sunflower and pre-school children!! Dave has a Level 3 qualification in childcare but is currently at University studying to become a paramedic!🌻
