As I approach the end of my first full year of tutoring, I’m incredibly proud to see my Year 11 students heading into their exams feeling more confident and well prepared.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing revision tips to help support your child as they prepare for exams 📚
Today I wanted to share with you the importance of past papers.
Past papers are one of the most effective revision tools. They help students become familiar with the style of questions and recognise the topics that come up more frequently. The more papers they practise, the less daunting exams will feel.
They’re also a great way to identify gaps in knowledge, helping students understand what to prioritise in their revision and take more control of their learning.
A resource I would recommend is Maths Genie, which provides past papers, mark schemes, worked solutions, and video walkthroughs explaining how to approach each question.
