I'm super pleased to say I am now a qualified Vocal Health First Aider thanks to Vocal Health Education. This doesn't mean that I can fix or diagnose, but it does mean that I can be a first point of contact for students or clients with concerns about their voice and vocal health.

Hey everyone, how's it going? We're nearly 2 weeks into Lockdown #2 and frankly, I'm fed up. A man shouted mean things at me on my run yesterday, lots of my students are isolating so I'm missing them, I miss my friends very much, I miss performing SO much and I just really fancy a mulled cider in a beer garden.

One of my 'must-dos' for this Lockdown was to sing for myself everyday, even if it's just in the shower and it's been such a positive part of the past 2 weeks. How are you coping?

I am over the moon to have snapped up a training place on this pioneering Vocal First Aid course. As your teacher, I'm here to help you look after your unique instrument and this course will equip me to to do this more confidently. This is hopefully the start of an exciting journey into the world of vocal rehabilitation for me - what a nerd!
