Christmas spirit is in full swing! 🎄✨ The children have been busy mixing up reindeer food, exploring messy play with our ‘Santa’s spaghetti hat’, and decorating their own Christmas trees! The children loved every second… and the grown‑ups will be finding glitter everywhere until at least Easter! 🤣

Cutest pumpkins in the patch—big smiles and little hands hard at work! 🎃 We’ve also been going on autumn walks, crunching through leaves and collecting all kinds of autumn treasures. Our post is a little delayed as we’ve had a busy few weeks, but we’re so happy to share these seasonal moments of fun and discovery with you all. 🍂🍁🧡

It’s been a whirlwind few months at our childminding setting and, in the rush, I’ve barely had a moment to post! We’ve welcomed some lovely new faces and helped everyone settle in, all while making the most of the summer holidays. From exploring Manor Castle 🏰 and getting hands-on in the sandpit to enjoying sunny garden days, we’ve been busy making memories.

It’s been a busy few weeks at Little Acorns! Our little explorers have been having a blast with our brand new outdoor mud kitchen, whipping up tough treats with our homemade edible sand! 🥄🌿 They’ve been busy bug hunting and even spotted a ladybird 🐞, plus enjoyed a sunny day at the park with sandpit adventures and feeding the animals. To top it off, a fun visit to PandyLand where they loved playing vets and letting their imaginations run wild! 🐾💫

Last week at Little Acorns we had a splashing good time in our tuff tray! The little ones had a blast washing all sorts of adorable animals 🐠🦓🦕We also had an extra special day, as we crafted a beautiful birthday card for a Mum’s Birthday 🎉🎂

Exploring nature and nurturing creativity! Today, we set up a beautiful flower-themed tuff tray for some sensory fun🌸🌼, and then ventured into the garden for an exciting animal hunt.🦒🦓The children had so much fun discovering the wonders of the outdoors and using their imagination🌦️

Bluey & Bingo approved snacks coming right up!

Our mini bakers👩‍🍳 whipped up some magical Bluey cupcakes at Little Acorns today as the weather outside was cold and frosty.❄️🧁Mixing, stirring, and decorating with big smiles on their faces.🥣🥰

We had a delightful tea party in the afternoon, with our tiny tea enthusiasts in training sipping on imaginary brews and perfecting their cupcake artistry.

This week our little explorers enjoyed a morning at the museum🦤🦏, followed by an afternoon of messy play. We had a fantastic messy play adventure with cereal and water! 💦🥣 The little ones explored different textures, sounds, and sensory experiences while playing with cereal in our sensory tray. We learned about animal noises, scooped, poured, and discovered how cereal changes when mixed with water. A fun and educational morning of hands-on learning!
