Another cause for celebration as Swallownest Primary School have achieved the School Games Gold Award for the third consecutive year. Great reward for our commitment towards healthy lifestyles and involvement in sports and physical activity.

A superb day today as the children enjoyed their parkour workshops delivered by NovaCity! Great fun had by all and some real daredevils in the making!

What a fantastic day for Swall-fest! Kicked off by the amazing Rocksteady Music School followed by workshops and performances by each class. What a brilliant way to showcase our musical talents!

Great work from our Y6 cricketers yesterday, taking part in the Open Dynamos cricket competition at Whiston Parish CC. A great afternoon and some brilliant cricket played - in between the rain!

As you may be aware, we're creating a brand-new Friends of Swallownest Primary School group and we'd love you to be part of it.

This first meeting is an opportunity for parents, carers, grandparents, local businesses and community members to come together and help shape what the group could become.

Together, we hope to:

⭐ Create exciting enrichment opportunities for our children

⭐ Organise fun community and fundraising events

⭐ Strengthen relationships between school, home and the wider community

⭐ Make the most of the skills, talents and connections within our school family

Whether you have lots of time to give, occasional availability, specialist skills, fundraising experience, business connections or simply a passion for supporting our children, we'd love to hear your ideas.

Great work from our Eco-councillors today setting up and running our healthy eating tuck shop as part of Healthy Eating Week. They are selling fruit all week during their breaktime to celebrate the importance of a healthy and balanced diet.

Don't forget - tomorrow is our Dress Loud and Proud day. Let's flood school with colour and positive vibes!

As part of our roll-out of working with With Me In Mind, we are really excited to share information about their eClinic, which provides an online advice and guidance service designed for parents/carers, young people, and professionals who may have questions or concerns relating to emotional wellbeing and mental health. The eClinic provides an opportunity to seek advice, discuss concerns, gain signposting information, and explore possible support options without needing to make a formal referral into the service.

The aim of the eClinic is to provide early support, guidance, and practical strategies around a range of emotional wellbeing and mental health needs.

This could make a real difference to the lives of our young children and families!
