Our team is growing and we would like to showcase physiotherapy careers in academia. A range of full time, part time and Associate Lecturer opportunities available. We have imminent vacancies and opportunities that we look forward to sharing with you. We are also developing affiliate lecturer roles for graduates/band 5s with a view to support transition into a career into higher education in the future.

Final year students:

We are developing trainee affiliate lecturer roles that will interest anyone that may be consider working as a physiotherapist in education after gaining clinical expertise. We hope to recruit a selected number of graduates and band 5s who wish to undergo a structured preceptorship type programme to consider a career in higher education in the future. This will be alongside junior roles with contact points that compliment clinical working patterns. This will be for at least 2 years with support, training, and shadowing of the lecturer role to fully understand and prepare staff for transition into Higher Education.

Gain a three year sports trauma qualification and work alongside experienced sports physiotherapists in delivering pitch side trauma care to our athletes.

🚨 Calling 2nd & 3rd year Physio students... ⚕️ Applications will soon be open to apply for our BUCS pitch-side trauma internship. 👩‍⚕️ Receive a two day trauma training certificate from LUBAS medical valid for three years and run our pitch side first aid during Wednesday fixtures, supervision and ongoing training provided by the SHU physio clinic staff. Excellent opportunity for those wanting to get into sports physiotherapy or just to increase your employability profile. 👀 Keep an eye on your student emails for more details and how to apply.
