As part of the Journalistic Challenge, we attended a Sheffield Eagles match alongside three enthusiastic and highly engaged Year 7 students. The group had the opportunity to sit in the press box and gain valuable insight into the process of live match reporting and sports journalism.
Following a successful victory for the Eagles, the students were given the exciting opportunity to interview both the Player of the Match and the Head Coach. They conducted themselves with great professionalism throughout and represented the school exceptionally well

To celebrate David Attenborough centenary alongside recent Earth day, the Meadowhead Geography department invited each form and student to decorate a leaf for our environmental tree. Each leaf contains students pledges on the small actions they could take to protect the environment. Encouraging every student to make a difference to the world in which we live in.

Our Year 10 Health & Social Care students have been taking part in the Flour Baby Project!
After weeks of preparation, they stepped into the role of parent—caring for their “babies” around school while exploring the realities of pregnancy, labour, and early routines.
From planning feeding and care schedules, they have gained a real insight into the responsibilities of parenthood, while deepening their understanding of infant development.
