Due to many people fasting on the Day of Arafah, *Fajr salah tomorrow will be at 3:10am only.*

Arafah is a day where Allah forgives the sins of two years, yet many will still choose sleep and dunya over his mercy. Some of us may not live to see another Arafah. Do not let this day pass without fasting, tawbah and sincere dua.

May Allah accept from us all.

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

Today we buried a brother from Gaza who had recently arrived here. He had no family with him here, apart from his nephew who flew in from Germany to attend the Janazah.

Alhamdulillah, within 30 minutes the community came together and the burial costs were covered. May Allah ﷻ reward every single person who donated, attended, assisted and made dua.

Today was a powerful reminder that within our communities there are people carrying heavy burdens silently. Some have come from war, loss and displacement. Some are living alone. Some are struggling financially, emotionally and spiritually, yet many never ask for help.

It was also a reminder that death does not wait for anyone and it reaches a person wherever Allah ﷻ has written for them. A person may leave their homeland thinking they are beginning a new chapter in life, yet Allah’s decree will reach them wherever they are. No matter where we come from or where we live, one day we will all return to Allah ﷻ.

As Muslims, we have a duty towards one another. We must check in on people, support them where we can and be there for those who may have nobody else around them. Sometimes a small gesture, a phone call, a visit, or a kind word can mean more than we realise.

May Allah ﷻ forgive our brother, grant him Jannatul Firdaus and grant patience and strength to his loved ones. May Allah ﷻ also ease the affairs of all those in our communities who are struggling quietly and grant us the ability to serve and support one another sincerely for His sake. Aameen.
