Yesterday we attended the launch of the Sheffield Heritage Open Days brochure at the Sheffield town hall.
This year we have 3 drop in memory cafes, tours, 2 Concerteenies babies concerts and more! You can book your tickets via the Eventbrite link in the comments.

Our next Youth Forum session will be on Tuesday 8th September from 5:30-7pm at Canada House on Commercial Street.
We'll be talking about how you can join our Youth Board, what you want to see in our opening year and how you can help us to connect with your communities.
We will be providing food and drinks and can cover any public transport costs.

Very excited to have Concerteenies back with us before renovations begin!
Thank you to everyone who has been in to visit us in the last three days, we’ve had so much fun and hope you did too!
Thank you to our fab volunteers: Alex, Lou, Helen, Sue, Sara, Laura, Hadi, Hannah, Paula, Kathryn, Graham and Thomas. Thanks also to Concerteenies for lending us their comfy beanbags and David Eagle for lending us his hand pan.
Our next open events will be for Heritage Open Days and Castlegate Festival in September including two very special babies concerts with Concerteenies under the dome.

Last of our Open Days here at Canada House opens at 11.
Tram improvement works also start today so there’s no trams stopping outside our door, BUT it’s not too far a walk from either Sheffield Station where the Blue and Purple routes stop or from Cathedral where the Yellow and Blue turn back.
Why not combine your trip to us with you lion hunt, as some our visitors yesterday did?

Lots of exploring sounds, inventive instruments, curious minds and problem solving happening today here at Harmony Works. Lovely to see so many people taking time to absorb the different aspects of the building, start playing music together and enjoy the possibilities of the sounds they were making.
One of our volunteers said they could see some children discovering the start of their musical journey, which is just what we hope to develop at Harmony Works.
One day left to drop in and explore for yourselves…
