From the Development Education Centre South Yorkshire - DECSY - supporting a whole school approach to challenging stereotypes - to the Rotherham United Community Trust - creating pathways for girls and women in the sport - we are all determined to create a South Yorkshire that is equal, fair and fit for the future.

In 1911 the first International Women’s Day was held, beginning a tradition now over 100 years old. There is still much work to be done for gender equity and at Gender Action we are pleased to be supporting and empowering teachers to create positive change.
