The Government has opened bidding for the new £16.8 million Enrichment Expansion Programme (EEP), aimed at helping to halve the participation gap in enrichment opportunities for disadvantaged young people by 2035.

Supporting 400 secondary schools across England, the programme places renewed focus on arts, culture, sport, outdoor learning, civic engagement, and life skills - with enrichment set to play a growing role in school accountability and Ofsted frameworks.
