An update from Multiply Sheffield:

At the end of this week, the Multiply Sheffield page will be closing and merging with the FACES Sheffield City Council's Family Adult Community Education Service page.

Don't worry, you'll still be able to keep up to date with all our latest news, courses, workshops, events and opportunities through FACES. By bringing our pages together, we'll be able to share everything in one place, making it easier for you to stay connected and find the information you need.

If you currently follow Multiply Sheffield, please make sure you're following FACES so you don't miss out on future updates.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you over on the FACES page!

Pre-election Rules on Publicity (PERP) are currently in place. These rules stay in place until polls close at the by-election for Walkley on 17 September. During this time, we must follow the Code of Recommended Practice on Local Authority Publicity (2011). This helps us keep our social media channels politically neutral. While PERP is in place, we will remove all political comments. This includes comments about political parties, candidates, or political issues.

This guide provides advice and guidance on the publicity restrictions that should be observed by local authorities during the pre-election period.

Fab 5 - 5 Ways to Wellbeing is one of the many types of Multiply Sheffield workshops. It looks at the 5 steps people can take to improve their mental health and wellbeing. and includes the numeracy elements of time diaries, food diaries and the rating of mood.

Our learner Zeinab has taken part in a Fab 5 workshop and said:
"We learned it’s important for our well-being to take notice of things around us and I enjoyed looking at leaves and shells to see shapes and patterns in nature, seeing spirals, rows, lines and stripes and symmetry. When I went home I noticed many patterns around me and took some photos which I shared with the rest of the group." Two of her photographs are in the graphic for this post.
