Ahh what a week! We’ve had an absolute blast over here at TLC, learning harmonies, new repertoire and making friends ❤️ every single child that has walked through the door this week has been an absolute pleasure to teach. They have all been so kind and courteous and have thoroughly supported each other at every moment. I couldn’t be prouder!
I have been asked if there will be more upcoming events. Yes - absolutely! We are deciding dates/venues as we speak and will be releasing further details as soon as possible.
If you are happy with your child’s progress this week, a little review would be very much appreciated!

🔥 CHAAYA IS ON FIYAAA 🔥
We have been working really hard on refining all exam repertoire and had a little music theory session this morning. Chaaya absolutely smashed it and was able to tell us all the note values in “A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes”. We’re so proud of you, Chaaya!

Say hello to Kira, our social media manager! Kira is an absolute whizz with all things social and helps bring The L Collective to life by creating engaging content, building community connections and keeping followers up to date with everything happening over here! I honestly don’t know how she does it - my skills go as far as turning the computer off and on again when it crashes 🫠

We’re so excited to have the lovely Harriet joining us for work experience on Thursday!! Harriet is one of Sophie’s long-standing pupils and is currently studying Acting and Musical Theatre with her. She recently celebrated a Grade 6 Distinction in Acting!
Harriet is a sweet soul and is super excited to be supporting our exam candidates on Thursday!

🌟 MEET THE TEAM 🌟
Daisy Westbury is an 18-year old performer with unstoppable energy and a lifelong passion for dance.
Training since the age of three, she is currently studying on the BA (Hons) Professional Dance pathway in Musical Theatre at London Studio Centre, where she continues to refine her craft and grow as a versatile performer.
Daisy does all styles of dances but particularly loves tap, jazz, and musical theatre. Daisy brings spark, precision, and personality to every stage she steps onto.
Her dream is set firmly on the bright lights of the West End, where she hopes to combine her technical skill with her natural stage presence and passion for acting, singing and dancing.
Alongside her training, Daisy has gained valuable experience teaching dance to school aged children and choreographing for school dance shows and dances in school musicals roles that showcase not only her creativity but her leadership and enthusiasm.
Daisy and Julie will be popping by to say hello on Tuesday - they can’t wait to meet you!

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Julie Westbury to the L Collective team as our Designated Safeguarding Lead. Julie brings with her a wealth of experience in education (over 30 years!), extensive professional qualifications and valuable St John’s training, making her an incredible support for both our staff and students. Her caring nature and professionalism shine through in everything she does, and she has long been like a second mum to Sophie, our Principal, offering unwavering support, kindness, and guidance over the years. Julie’s warm and approachable character helps children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to thrive.
We’re so glad that Julie is joining us - she really is the kindest, most supportive lady you will meet!
