We love snow!!! The children have had great fun playing outside today. They all worked together to make a Snowman and then agreed that he should be called Olaf.
Thank you to the Nursery Staff Team who braved the snow early this morning to make sure the children could enjoy the snow.

Our Children at Nursery enjoy sharing stories and exploring books. This enables the children to develop new vocabulary, learn about their interests and develop a love of books.
We also have a nursery library this allows children to borrow books to share with their family at home.

We are currently looking for a Childcare Officer (Early Years Educator) to join the team at STEP Childcare, if you are not qualified in Early Years but thinking of starting your career then a apprentice position could be considered. Kate a parent of one our Pre School children, is doing a 26 mile hike to raise money for The Alzheimer's Society. The Children at STEP Childcare have enjoyed exploring food. The Mighty Explorers room enjoyed exploring tinned fruit, and explored how it felt, what it smelt like and how they could slide it across the tray.
The Tremendous Two's room have enjoyed making Pitta Pizza. They talked about where the food came from, what it felt like and they decided what food they would like to put on their Pizza.
