Village Tutors Welcome to Village Tutors, located on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent. We can help with 11+ and Kent Test preparation. It prepares children for their next steps.

We offer home Tuition, by a fully qualified and experienced teacher, for Key Stage 1 - 3 and GCSE students. We believe that every child can benefit from home tuition. The extra support develops confidence and helps to "fill the gaps" in a child's learning. We offer quality, uninterupted, 1:1 time with a qualified teacher. We take a child-centred approach; a pace to suit the student and tailor what is taught to the individual. Let Village Tutors help your child, to reach their full potential.

With sadness I am closing Village Tutors as my family and I have now moved from the Island and relocated in Hampshire. I would like to thank all my students, both current and past. I have enjoyed getting to know each individual and seeing their hard work pay off. I’ve received so many happy messages over the years about: pleasing exam grades and test results; feedback from parents consultation evenings, regarding how well a child is doing; the confidence that a student has developed through extra tuition and it makes me proud of the youngsters I have helped. Good luck to you all -keep working hard! It really has been a pleasure!

It’s been a strange year and I have missed seeing my students whilst in lockdown and self isolation periods. However I am proud of how resilient my little (& not so little) learners have coped and what they have achieved in 2020. I wish you all a very happy and well earned Christmas break and a better, hope-filled 2021!

To anyone who has a child with exams swiped from under them, please PLEASE remind them that learning lasts forever. All their work, all their skills and knowledge, that’s theirs, to keep. Exams are a day and a grade. Don’t let them lose sight of the fact that the LEARNING was what mattered.
