Today, we were delighted to welcome back Radnor House Sevenoaks for the fifth year running.

Each year, Radnor House join us to support a variety of activities across the school, and this year was no exception. Their team spent the day planting bulbs along our Woodland Walk, as well as other various activities throughout the day. 🌱

We are incredibly grateful for their hard work, enthusiasm, and continued support. Thank you to everyone involved for giving their time and helping make a real difference 💚

Today, we came together for our annual Leavers’ Assembly, celebrating the achievements and memories of another fantastic school year. Pupils received their leavers’ books, packed with heartfelt messages, and awards were presented to recognise accomplishments across the school.

The assembly was made even more special by musical performances from some of our leavers, showcasing their talents one last time.

It was a fitting and emotional end to the year, as we said farewell not only to our school leavers but also to members of staff who are moving on. Thank you all for being such an important part of our school community. 💙🌟

🎨✨ This week marked the opening of Valence School’s Art Exhibition, celebrating the creativity and achievements of our talented students.

Featuring work produced throughout the academic year across Wellbeing Art, Key Stage 3 Skills, Entry Level and GCSE courses, the exhibition highlights the imagination, talent and unique perspectives of students from every learning pathway. Each piece tells a unique story and reflects the incredible diversity and creativity within our school community.

Together, we're making art accessible, empowering and full of opportunity. 🌟

It's been a busy and exciting week at Valence!

As a reward for the fantastic engagement shown by our primary pupils and to celebrate all their hard work throughout the year, we were delighted to welcome Amazing Animal Encounters to the school. The children had the opportunity to meet a variety of fascinating animals, including a baby fox. They enjoyed getting up close, learning about each animal, and even having the chance to touch them – an experience they thoroughly enjoyed!

We also hosted a KSENT Science Event, welcoming three other special schools from across Kent for a collaborative day of scientific exploration and discovery. It was wonderful to see pupils working together, sharing ideas, and taking part in a range of engaging science activities.

What a fantastic week of learning, achievement, and memorable experiences! 🦊🔬✨
