West Heath School An Ofsted outstanding independent specialist school in Sevenoaks West Heath School has only one aim - to rebuild young, damaged lives through education.

We are an Ofsted Outstanding (2022), independent specialist school which provides education and support for children with SEMH needs, in particular those whose mainstream education has broken down because of trauma or other reasons. s approval for 150 boys and girls aged 10-20, providing both day and boarding accommodation and offers a broad range of GCSE and A levels subjects as well as outdoor activities such as DofE and Princes Trust qualifications. We are fortunate to benefit from the support of our founding patron, Mohamed Al Fayed, which enables us to occupy an 18th century building set in 32 acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of Sevenoaks, Kent. An incredible few days with every kind of weather! Sunny, wet, windy, foggy and hail we have had it all. Students have been brilliant and persevered with every activity. Fish and chips from Rick Stein, Cornish pasties and ice creams in the rain, a real British beach holiday! Coasteering was fabulous, groups of spectators on the cliffs watching our children clambering over the rocks, jumping into the waves and discovering hidden beaches, a perfect week.

The Cornwall team arrived safely after a long journey. A good dinner followed by a brisk beach walk to view the sinkhole...

The Cornwall team arrived safely after a long journey. A good dinner followed by a brisk beach walk to view the sinkhole with hot chocolate and games upon our return to the centre. All happy and excited to get to the beach today for our water sports.
