🌟 We couldn’t be prouder of our Year 6! 🌟

While we’re delighted with the fantastic SATs results that we received yesterday, what makes this class so special can’t be measured by a test score. They are kind, caring, talented and compassionate young people who have embraced every opportunity during their time at Settle Primary School.

Today is their final day with us, and they leave behind a legacy of friendship, laughter and unforgettable memories. We will miss every single one of them and can’t wait to see what they achieve next.

Join us in church at 2pm for a special leavers service.

STEM BAR already for tomorrow with bottles chilling nicely.

Ready for the Pimms to be added

Bring a camp chair and relax outside the bar and watch the kids have fun on the bouncy castle

£3 a bottle with choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic larger and cider

Cash or card for Bar and BBQ

☀️ Keeping Cool This Week…Again☀️

For the next 2 days the temperatures are expected to be very high again.

Children are welcome to wear their PE kit (shorts and PE top) tomorrow if this is cooler than their school uniform.

Friday is “wear what you want day” in exchange for a bottle of something for the Summer Fair. Please encourage the children to dress in cooler clothes.

Please remember to pack a water bottle and sun hat and ensure sun cream is applied before school.

Year 6 are asked to leave leavers’ hoodies at home, as classrooms are expected to be very warm.

Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and comfortable in the heat.

Don’t forgot it’s Settle Primary School PTA Summer Fair this Friday 10th July - 3:30pm to 5:30pm

Weather is looking cracking!
The BBQ will be sizzling!
The STEM Bar will be open!
The bounce castle will no doubt be bouncing!
And the ducking stool has its victims ready to be dunked!

Along with all our usual stalls and this year a candy floss stall serving Bubble Gum and Strawberry candy floss long with normal floss too

Oh and don’t miss Settle Primary School own Brass band - Brass Roots performing at 4pm

You can either drop off at reception on Friday morning or bring them along to the Summer Fair

Some new additions for this years PTA Summer Fair

The STEM BAR servicing bottled alcoholic and non alcoholic larger and cider straight from the fridge along with PIMMS

The famous ducking stool, which last time saw Mr Wright, Miss T and Mrs Ambrose get ducked a few times - check out the new line up ready to be dumped into the cold water!

At the moment the weather is looking good so I think the bar might be a hit!!

It’s nearly time for our Summer fair and this year we’ve brought some of our favourites back and added one or two new additions which we think you might just like!

Like every year all monies raised minus expenses goes back into the school to provide either additional enrichment for the children, provide new equipment and assist with lowering costs of trips and additional treats!

So let’s cross our fingers and toes and hope the good weather continues, so we can get together and have a fun 2 hours!

Keep your eyes peeled for further information including new additions and return of the favourites leading up to the event.
