🏫💙 A REALLY INSPIRING VISIT TO PHILIPHAUGH COMMUNITY SCHOOL
I had a brilliant visit to Philiphaugh Community School recently and came away genuinely excited about what lies ahead.
Head Teacher Roddy has an abundance of ideas and a real passion for making sure every young person has the same opportunities to learn, develop and thrive. It was wonderful listening to some of the things already happening – and some of the ideas he hopes to bring forward next. 🌟
📚I got to visit all the classes, meet pupils and staff and see some of the improvements taking place around the school, including the library refurbishment, completed just last week.
🤝 Something Roddy is particularly keen on is making the school an even bigger part of the wider community – building on existing partnerships, re-establishing old ones and creating new ones.
📣 So, a wee call out to our community.

There is a real sense of an exciting journey underway at Philiphaugh and I’m looking forward to seeing Roddy’s vision, working alongside pupils, staff, parents and the wider community, come to life over the months ahead.
