THAT FRIDAY FEELING

๐ŸคฉWe want to make sure you get 'that Friday feeling' every week as we head into the weekend which is why we're launching this new piece of communication weekly.

๐ŸŒŸYou'll find '5 For Friday' which are photo highlights from across our school this week.

๐Ÿ“…You'll also see 'Next Week in Our School' to remind you of diary dates when they pop up.

๐Ÿ‘Hope you find this useful - look out for a copy in your emails and on the noticeboard in the playground from now on.

WHOLE SCHOOL ROUTINE: LINE UP LEGENDS ๐Ÿ˜Ž

This term we have a focus on whole school routines to ensure our pupils get it right every time. To support this, we've enlisted the help of some P7s who are our 'School Influencers' to make content for classrooms and social media.

Here's our first one where they teach pupils how to line up like legends! ๐Ÿ†

If you want to watch this with your child at home to give them some further chances to try, please do so ๐Ÿ˜

Here's a wee video to show you our classroom and settings...although they will be so much better with happy young people inside tomorrow! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿคฉ

Set the alarms early and we'll see you for an 8.45am start. โฐ๐Ÿ˜

Over the last week, local community police officers have been carrying out patrols across the area to tackle the illegal use of E-scooters/unregistered off road e-bikes, due to repeated safety concerns coming from members of the community over their use.

Prior to enforcement, we distributed advice and guidance via the schools to ensure all families were aware of circumstances where these vehicles could be legally used.

Following this, E-scooters have now been seized during patrols along with reports submitted for road traffic offences.

A reminder to all parents and young people, E-scooters are not permitted on public roads, pavements or other public spaces, as they do not meet the necessary legal standards. Their use is only legal on private land with the landowner's consent. Anyone found to be using an E-scooter in these areas may be charged and have the E-scooter seized.

Their continued use poses a significant safety risk and increases the likelihood of injuries to both riders and other road users.

We urge parents to speak with their children about the risks and legal consequences of using E-scooters in public.
