Welcome to Discoverers! 👶💛

A snapshot of our under 2’s room, where our team of highly qualified, dedicated staff are ready to welcome our littlest learners 💙

This space has seen quite a lot of change over the past few years, beginning life as storage space! It is now home to up to 6 little ones at a time, and the team, along with our level 5 qualified room leader Lottie, are committed to creating a homely, enriching environment for babies of all ages. Complete with a messy and cosy area, dining table, family wall, role play area, milk kitchen and book corner, we have watched many children thrive as they journey through this room and into Adventurers. Time in Discoverers allows children to create bonds and gradually develop the vital building blocks to life, such as physical, personal social and emotional and communication and language development. 🧱

Our staff constantly undergo learning whether this be via courses or even days out to conferences, and our commitment to the highest quality provision is paramount. ⭐️

We love it here 💙

Our focus this week is fruits and vegetables, and so it was only right that we went and saw where they are grown! 🧑‍🌾

On our travels we saw farmers, tractors, fields of corn and wild blackberries! 🌽🚜

Our little ones have been busy planting seeds, watering and weeding this year, and we have just harvested our first ever home grown carrot!!!! 🥕 The children were so excited to see how well their carrots have grown, and were even more enthusiastic about having a taste! Another favourite has been our home grown peas 🫛. Such an exciting, rewarding way to develop our children’s understanding of the natural world and how it fuels our bodies 🌱🥰
