Teacher of Criminology and Sociology, Level 3 - Sixth Form College

Job Description:

We are looking for a Criminology and Sociology Teacher, based at a good sixth form College in the Dudley Borough.

Duties will include:

Demonstrating the ability to accept new ideas and a thorough commitment to student learning
Evidence of high degree of subject specialism and professional development
Flexible and adaptable attitude to meet the needs of the college, with the vision and determination to ensure all students receive a first class education

Qualifications Required:

The successful candidate will possess a Teaching qualification
Experience of planning, delivery, assessing and evaluating teaching and learning
The ability to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject areas and the ability to provide timely, accurate and effective feedback on learners' attainment

Start/closing dates: starting immediately, to cover maternity leave for the rest of the academic year

The pay scale is £150 - £200 per day

Drama Teacher

Job Description: We are looking to recruit a Drama Teacher, based at a good school within the Dudley Borough. The role of a Drama Teacher is to teach and support students through important stages of their time at secondary school. Your duties will include: creating lesson plans that are appropriate for each age group; teach students in accordance with standards; directing including school plays and productions; assign work and homework and mark all work completed by students and provide students with necessary feedback, critique, encouragement and support. You will set regular and relevant homework, learning and assessment which enable students to take responsibility for their own learning as well as promoting a high standard of behaviour, test and assignments to support and consolidate learning.

The successful candidate will possess a Teaching qualification (NQT's are welcome to apply) preferably in Drama and with some experience teaching music. You will have successful experience of planning, delivering, assessing and evaluating teaching and learning. The ability to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject area and the ability to provide timely, accurate and effective feedback on learners' attainment, progress and areas for development are a necessity, as well as good oral and presentation skills

This is a part-time role, 3 days per week (days to be confirmed) starting after the Easter holiday until July 2024.

The pay scale is £135 - £185 per day, dependent on experience.

Art Teacher
