We have an unopened box of 30 'Be School Ready' booklets that we no longer need, as we already have enough for our new starters.

We wondered if there are any schools that could make use of them. If you know of a school that may want them, please feel free to tag them or share this post.

Did you know? We return and recycle all ink cartridges, helping to reduce waste and protect the environment.

💰 Original Canon, HP, Epson, Brother and Lexmark cartridges are the ones that raise money for Chyngton School PTFA, but please keep bringing in all your used ink cartridges—every cartridge helps keep waste out of landfill.

✈️ Going on holiday this summer? 🌍

If you come home with any leftover foreign currency, please consider donating it to our Foreign Currency Recycling Scheme to help raise funds for Chyngton Primary School.

Yesterday, during our Leavers' Assembly, we said a heartfelt goodbye to three much-valued members of our school family – Mr Tollyfield, Miss Raven and Miss Lyons.

Between them, they have dedicated many years to our primary school, supporting, inspiring and caring for so many children. Their commitment and kindness have made a lasting difference to our school community, and they will be greatly missed.

We would like to thank Mr Tollyfield, Miss Raven and Miss Lyons for everything they have done and wish them all the very best for the future.

Good morning!

It's been a long time coming, but we've finally got a plaque for our Trim Trail! 🎉

Next time you're in the playground, take a wander over to the Trim Trail and have a look. It's located on the green area of the Trim Trail.

It's a lovely way to recognise everyone who helped make this fantastic project possible. A huge thank you to everyone who supported this project and helped bring the Trim Trail to life – we couldn't have done it without you! 💚

🛠️ Can You Help Our PTFA? 🛠️

We've been very kindly donated a 8ft × 6ft wooden storage shed for Chyngton Primary School PTFA, and we're now looking for help to prepare a suitable base so we can get it installed.

We're hoping a local business, tradesperson, or someone with the skills might be able to donate their time, materials, or both. Whether it's a gravel base, timber frame, plastic shed base grids, or another suitable solution, we'd be incredibly grateful for any support.

No contribution is too small – even donated gravel, timber, or other suitable materials would be greatly appreciated.

As a volunteer-run PTFA, every penny we raise goes back into supporting the children at Chyngton Primary School.
