During Outdoor Explorers, Pears tried a range of UK summer fruits. Pears tried plums, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. After trying the fruit, Pears created a chart to show which fruit was their favourite.

Elm 1 enjoyed a Get Ahead PE session today with a focus on athletics

Apples learnt about fruits that grow in the UK in the summertime. We then tasted some fruits and made a pictogram to decide the class favourite

This week, Pears have been learning to describe the position of objects using key vocabulary such as in front of, behind and next to. Pears used this vocabulary to answer a rapid reasoning question.

Yesterday Fir 2 took part in the colour run. We had the best time and created a huge mess!

Fir 1 had a fantastic Ancient Egyptian Day! They enjoyed a variety of activities, including making split-pin mummies, designing their own sarcophagus, completing word searches, and taking part in an exciting drama session with Dave. The children had great fun learning about acting, playing drama games, and immersing themselves in the world of Ancient Egypt. 🏺✨

Yew 1 have practised their phonics in the classroom today and enjoyed playing a variety of phonics games 🤩

Fir 2 took part in an Ancient Egyptian afternoon where they learnt lots about the gods and goddesses of Ancient Egypt. They all got involved in all the activities. Well done Fir 2!

Elm 1 were simply magnifique in French today - we learnt the names for items of clothing, played a guessing game and did a lot of speaking work to pronounce the words accurately!
