Junior Gym Induction Course, Now Booking!

Helping teens feel at home in the gym from day one.
Our Junior Gym induction is designed for 11–16 year olds who are new to the gym!

Over four fun, guided sessions, they’ll learn everything they need to get started:
💪 Session 1: Getting comfortable with cardio machines
🏋️ Session 2: Using resistance machines safely
🏃 Session 3: Trying functional training
📝 Session 4: Building their own personalised gym plan

Each session is led by our friendly Health & Fitness team, helping young people learn at the right pace while staying safe and motivated.

For those on the rewards trip to Alton Towers tomorrow, you need to be at school for 07:10 to check in. The sooner you are all here, the sooner we are able to get going!

We held our first Year 10 RAG meeting last week as they move into Year 11. So of course we celebrated those who recieved praise from their teachers in English, Maths and Science!

Huge success to our Year 8 Girls Team, who have dominated on the track and field for the second year running!

We had a fantastic day at Quibell Park for the Adam Simms Memorial Cup, with our Year 7 and 8 teams putting everything into the competition. It's a tough event; every single student has to run the 100m and 800m, take on the long jump, and then split into high jump and javelin.

The kids were brilliant from start to finish, and their behaviour was a credit to the academy.

We are still waiting on some of the final team placements, but we are absolutely delighted to share that our Year 8 Girls team won the shield for the second year in a row! It's a massive achievement that shows just how hard they've worked.
