Our Children’s artwork on display!
We are proud of the super artwork created by the children in our school, which has been selected to be displayed at Alkborough Church’s art exhibition.
If you have some spare time on Sunday 2nd August between 2pm and 4pm, please show your support and pop in to see their creations. Tea and cake will be available to raise funds for the church.

Rainbow 🌈 class
We have had a fantastic year in rainbow 🌈 class and wish everyone a lovely summer and look forward to welcoming many children back into our class. However, it’s time to say goodbye to our wonderful year 2 children as they begin their next adventure in Ks2 in September. For some of these children we’ve had the privilege of teaching them for over four years in our mixed eyfs and ks1 class. Watching them grow from little nursery children into kind, confident and capable young people has been a special journey to treasure.
A huge thank you goes to the fantastic parents and families for unwavering support, encouragement and trust.
From all class staff, thank you for some wonderful memories and fun.
We wish you all the best in Year 3. Keep believing, being kind. We are very proud.

The children and adults had a great time at the seaside yesterday, enjoying a ride on the miniature railway, tucking into delicious ice creams and having fun playing in the big sandpit. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces.
A big thank you to our PTA for treating us all to an ice cream and for the kind volunteers giving up their time to support.
Well done to all of our children for being such fantastic ambassadors for our school. We hope everyone had fun.

This week in Science, we explored how fungi reproduce through spores. Following last week’s investigation into the conditions needed for mould to grow on bread, we examined our results - the damp bread was very mouldy! We even used microscopes to observe the tiny mould spores up close!

Hot weather update.
With temperatures set to rise from tomorrow, children are welcome to come to school wearing their PE kit for the remainder of the week to help them stay cool and comfortable.
Please ensure children wear:
A plain white t shirt
Black PE shorts
We also request that children ensure they have their water bottle with them, a sun hat and that sunscreen is applied before they come to school.
Thank you for your support.

A huge thank you to our PTA and helpers who gave up their time, creativity and hard work to produce such a fantastic float for Winterton show. Big well done to the children in school too for their clog designs etc.
It was brilliant to see it making its way through the town representing our school and community. Oh and a well deserved second place too!
Fantastic. What will be the theme next year?
