Do you know the story of the Hackness Horn - a village heirloom? 📯 It was used to save the village when fire broke out many years ago. It became traditional for Year 6 to blow the horn to signal their readiness to leave primary school! ⭐️ This tradition was brought back this year due to popular demand! 🏆 We wish this spectacular group all the best on their new journey to secondary! ❤️

Taskmaster Maths Challenges! 🧮 Years 3, 4 & 5 took on the teamwork tower challenge last term. 💪 They had to work together, problem solve and think outside the box! We love giving our KS2 students chance to collaborate and support each other, particularly during transitional terms. 💙 Whilst the wind made the challenge harder, we love outdoor learning in the sun! ☀️

This year it was Year 3 & 4’s turn to head out for a residential! 💪 They adventured out of the classroom for 3 days, and many of them experienced their first ever stay away from home! We were so proud of their independence and resilience. ⭐ This trip is a great example of how our school families come together, making and nurturing a range of friendships! 🌱 Here’s an insight into just some of their adventures - beck scrambling, night lining, canoeing and body boarding! 🛶
