Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed a wonderful visit to Pwllcrochan, where they explored a variety of habitats and learned about the wildlife living there. One of the highlights of the day was pond dipping, during which the children discovered and caught many different creatures. A huge thank you to the staff at the centre for making the day so enjoyable. 🐞🐛🦟🕷️

🏆 Sports Day Celebration! 🏆
What a fantastic Sports Day we had yesterday! We are delighted to announce that Monkstone House was our overall winning house .
A huge thank you to all of our pupils who demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, determination, and encouragement throughout the day.

Special thanks go to our Year 6 Sports Captains for their support, and to the Year 7 pupils from Ysgol Greenhill who came along to help. It was a pleasure to have you with us, and we greatly appreciated your assistance.

Thank you also to all the parents and families who came along to support and cheer on the children. Your encouragement helped make the day special.
Finally, thank you to Mrs Lewis and her family for running the refreshments stall and raising money for FOSS.

Well done everyone for making Sports Day 2026 such a memorable success!

A huge thank you to Mrs North for creating our whole-school dance! The choreography is a fantastic mash-up of lots of current songs, and the children are already loving it.
Our first practice went really well today and everyone had lots of fun learning the routines. We are already looking forward to our next lesson! 💃🎶
