🐻 FREE Children’s Bear Habitat Workshop – 15 Places Available! 🏗️

Date: 1st September
Time: 14:00-15:30 - please arrive for 13:45 and we will meet you at admissions and take you down to the bear lookout as a group.

We’re looking for up to 15 children aged 7+ to take part in a free 90-minute creative workshop at the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary

As part of our work with Architecture Today, we’re creating promotional content for an upcoming conference, as well as future workshops. The session will therefore be filmed and photographed.

We provide:
🎨 A free 90-minute workshop
🚗 Free parking for the session

To take part, children must:
• Be aged 7 or over
• Be happy being filmed and photographed
• Be happy talking on camera about the bear habitat they create
• Have a parent/guardian complete the photo/video consent form
• Also adults must remain out of shot during filming

Come along TODAY!!!! to meet a scientist - Dr Will King - from the University of Southampton and discover the tiniest forms of life living at the Sanctuary!

Use microscopes to reveal living things that are too small to see with just your eyes! Using prepared slides and samples we will investigate bacteria, viruses and fungi, to understand which are helpful and which can be harmful!

Collect samples from around the Sanctuary for analysis at the university, discover how they have grown at the following session!
Then design your own microbe - will it be helpful or harmful? 🦠
