Bobby's really proud of himself this week 😃 he recieved 'Performer of the Week' from his performing arts group for doing a 2 minute monologue for his zoom group 😃
I'm really proud of him too, and so happy to see him looking forward to something so much each week and to hear the wonderful supportive feedback from everyone there.
This has really boosted his self-confidence and happiness recently 🥰

Ruby says this isn't good 😕
She still has some of the leftover 'not good enough' which she had so much of when she was in school, and she doesn't believe me when I say it's amazing because "you have to say that because you're my Mum" 😏
She wouldn't even start it for ages because it would be 'too hard'. She just sat making horror makeup on her arm while I was drawing next to her.
Then I suggested she draw it on the canvas first and she was off!
What do you guys think?
My own half-finished sketch may be finished today, I'm not brave enough to paint like Ruby does 😱

So lucky to have caught this amazing little creature moulting while I was giving the caterpillars new leaves today 😃

Bobby loves cooking so we decided that he would start his Food Hygiene training with an online course and certificate!

He did get a bit bored midway through but he persevered and got a certificate to print at the end, which he's so proud of he's posted it up in the kitchen 😍

We've lately been obsessed with an animal and plant identification app called Seek.

I'm really happy that I can finally point out, "that's red campion" to the kids as we walk or cycle past. I've always wanted to do this but never knew there was an app 🤦‍♀️ (thank you Giselle Childs)

The funniest one Ruby found was called Nipplewort 😂

She can now point out 3 or 4 wild flowers by name; these are the real skills I want my children to learn 🌿🌷🌱🌳
