My name is Padam Gurung, I was born in Lumjung District in Nepal in 1987. My first experiences as an artist was when I was at 6th grade, I painted a landscape, which later one of my teacher looked at it and asked “ how did you paint this?” and I still remember my answer was “ I don’t know, I just draw what I saw”. It was a little difficult for me to paint outside because of the constantly changing light and shadow, nevertheless this will help me to boost my knowledge on colour accuracy and instant decision making while plein air painting.
