As a Thrive school, we spend time each day in term time focusing on an activity that will help to boost our confidence, emotional awareness or provide us with strategies to support our own mental wellbeing.

Throughout the summer, we would like to share some of these with you.

To start, a 'would you rather quiz' which gives children the chance to practice sharing their opinions in a confident and respectful way, even if their view is different to another's.

We would love to hear some of your opinions....

Live forever in a desert or at sea?

Sing well or dance well?

Be 9 metres or 9 cm tall?

How would a dinosaur wear its tie? 1 or 2?

** Year 5 and Year 6 **

Don't forget our DoodleMaths competition - keep earning those stars so we can be the best in the Trust!!

I can see that there are a few of you already on over 100 stars which is INCREDIBLE. A little bit everyday will really help to keep those maths brains active

And just like that another year is done.

Thank you so much for all of your support this year - we couldn't do it without you!

On behalf of all the staff I would like to say thank you for your kindness and generosity today and for your kind words on the report slips.

Year 6, have a brilliant summer and good luck as you move to your Secondary schools - as for the rest of you - stay safe and we will see you all on Thursday 3rd of September to do it all again :)

Mrs Jeffery

Hopefully Year 1 and Year 2 were able to tell you lots about their visitors today from Wiltshire Wildlife!

The climbing wall has become such a staple in our school calendar - it is always incredible to hear the children talk about trying to beat their previous heights or challenging themselves to try it even when they are worried.

A highlight of the year for many.

As part of their Maths learning on statistics, yesterday afternoon, Year 2 did a tree survey of the field.

Once they had collected data on what types of trees there were, the used it to create tally charts and pictograms.

Early years enjoyed a football themed number hunt yesterday morning!

Reception were great role models to nursery and the children worked together in groups to find and count football themed pictures! We then recorded our findings!

What an afternoon - lots of smiles and laughter - I think I can still taste the paint!

A big MASSIVE thank you to all our helpers - we couldn't do it without you :)

Not too late to donate if you haven't already. Raffle tickets will still be on sale next week and we will draw the raffle next Thursday with the children in Worship.
