Teddy bears picnic 🐻🧺

The Shoots and Sunflowers children have been feeding their teddy bears this morning, helping with their concentration and co ordination skills when using the spoons and guiding them to their mouths, and talking about eyes, noses and mouth.

The children also loved playing in the home corner making drinks and more yummy snacks for their friends and teddies 🧸 💛

This morning our over 2's have been washing the dolls with warm soapy water, talking about facial features "eyes, nose, mouth" this has also been a huge interest within the 2 year old room, playing with the dolls in the home corner.

Seedlings and Sprouts 🌱

The children have been exploring the Play-Doh and using the cereal to make faces with Annabel, Jacinda and Chantel. Talking about their Nose, Mouth and eyes. The children enjoyed squishing the play-doh with their hands and pulling it, which helps develope their fine motor skills 💛

Shoots and Sunflowers have been making their own homes this morning using bricks of all shapes and colours and small world characters, to talk about who lives in their homes and what it looks like. This has sparked lots of conversation about animals which we will continue throughout the week.

They've also enjoyed playing outside on the climbing frame and slide and getting messy with the mud kitchen 💛
