Seedlings and Sprouts have also been enjoying the weather early this morning, playing in the cool water with the sponges and jugs 💦💛

Sunflowers and shoots have been enjoying the weather early this morning before it gets too hot, they've been enjoying the paddling pool with the sea animals and the mud kitchen.
Whilst always staying hydrated with fresh water and staying in the shade 🌻

Have been enjoying outdoor learning today, the children loved washing the cars with water, mixing colours with the shaving foam and exploring the mud kitchen and construction area 💛

We have swapped one of our areas around in the garden and the children have been really engaged with how they have set up their area, all the children set up an obstacle course. Promoting their physical development, imagination, turn taking and gross motor skills. 💛

Have been exploring the shaving foam tuff tray, mark making with cars and extending their learning by mark making with their fingers, drawing shapes. 💛

Seedlings and Sprouts 🌱

The children have been exploring the shredded paper this morning, watching the paper fall from a distance and scooping with the diggers.

They have also been playing in the sand and water, mixing them together and lots of splashing 💦💛

The shoots children enjoyed exploring the rice tuff tray with jugs, bowls and paint brushes. They enjoyed tipping and pouring the rice into different types of equipment which made different sounds.

The Sunflower children was encourged to find the hidden Bee's within the rice and spoke with Chloe about everyone is different "BEE YOU" the children spoke about different hair types, their height and eye colours. Some of the Sunflower children also spoke about what colour cars their mums and dad's drove 💛

A very messy activity this morning, developing their sensory exploration using their hands and feet to feel the textures and using natural resources to help with imagination 💛

Shoots and Sunflowers 🌿🌻

Today the children have enjoyed plaging with traffic light playdough. They spoke about what each colours mean when displayed on a traffic light and about road safety.

They also enjoyed the water play pouring and measuring using the jugs and pipettes.
