On Wednesday 18th February, during half term, Meet the Employer was proudly hosted at City Skills College, bringing together local residents, students, job seekers, and apprenticeship providers from across Salford and surrounding areas.

The event was designed with a clear purpose: to provide direct access to employers offering apprenticeship opportunities, while delivering high-quality industry insight to help attendees better understand career pathways, expectations, and progression routes.

Salford City College are supporting the Greater Manchester Local Skills Improvement Plan (GM LSIP), led by the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce supported by GMLPN, an initiative bringing employers and training providers together to make sure local education and training matches the real skills businesses need, now and in the future.

Celebrating National Careers Week with Apprenticeships at Salford City College!

Apprentices at City Skills attended the H&S Electrical & Building services industry roadshow held at City Skills in February. This gave Apprentices the opportunity to meet with manufacturers and suppliers of leading technology and equipment used within the sector.
