🌈✨ WHAT A FANTASTIC START TO THE NEW TERM! ✨🌈

We’ve had such a brilliant week at Kenex Out of School Club! 💛💙💚

We can honestly say that all of our children have settled back in so well after the summer break! 🥰 It’s been lovely seeing familiar faces again, making new friends and getting back into our fun-filled routines. 🎨🧩⚽️

A HUGE welcome to all our new children who have joined us this week! 👋💖 We’ve already welcomed lots of new faces, with even more children joining us over the next week or so. We can’t wait to get to know you all! 🌟

We’re also very excited to welcome Tori, our newest member of staff, to the Kenex team!

💕 She’ll be working across both our Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club.

Tori has settled into the team brilliantly and brings with her lots of experience working with children of different ages. She is also a qualified Level 3 childcare professional. 🌟👏

We are absolutely overwhelmed and delighted to announce that we are now almost at full capacity for both our Breakfast Club and After School Club! 🥳💛

Today our amazing staff team will come together for our training day and staff meeting. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements and successes of the past school year, reflect on all we have accomplished together, and look ahead to an exciting new year! 🎉👏💫

We’ll be sharing ideas, learning together, planning for the year ahead and getting ready to welcome our wonderful children back. 📚💡🌟

And tomorrow… our rooms will be filled with happy faces once again! 🥰🎒🍎

We cannot wait to welcome our children back for the start of the autumn term and begin another year filled with learning, laughter, friendship and fantastic memories! 🍂🌈✨

We’re looking for items to support our creative and imaginative activities, and we’d be incredibly grateful for any donations of:

🔧 Junk modelling materials
🧵 Wire reels
☎️ Old-style telephones
🍴 Metal kitchen utensils
🌱 Seeds
📦 Any other interesting bits and pieces that could be used for creative play and exploring!

If you have any of these items lying around and no longer need them, we’d love to give them a new lease of life. 💚

🌸✨ Summer is coming to an end… and the ‘ber’ months are on their way! 🍂

We can’t quite believe how quickly the summer holidays have flown by! We hope all our little ones and their families have had a wonderful summer filled with lots of fun, sunshine and special memories. ☀️💛

We’re so excited to be heading back to KENEX! This Tuesday, our team will be getting together for a busy staff training day, getting everything ready for another fantastic term.

Then, on Wednesday, we’ll be welcoming all our children back — and we simply cannot wait to see all those little faces again! 🥰

We’re also especially excited to welcome lots of new children to KENEX! 💕 A huge thank you to all the families who have chosen us as your childcare provider. It truly means so much to us, and we can’t wait to get to know you and your little ones and make lots of happy memories together. 🧸🌈

Here’s to a wonderful new term, new friendships, lots of learning, plenty of fun and making the most of the magical months ahead! 🍁✨

🌟 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY – KENEX OUT OF SCHOOL CLUB, SWINTON 🌟

Are you looking to gain valuable experience in a childcare setting and have a passion for supporting school-aged children? 💛

If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We currently have a volunteer position available for up to 2 days per week during term time.

⏰ Availability required: 3pm–6pm
