We can't believe we're approaching the final half term of this school year! 🎉

We hope all of our children and families have enjoyed a fantastic break, soaked up some sunshine, and had the chance to relax and recharge. 🌞💛

📢 Looking for childcare from September?
Now is the perfect time to get in touch! We have been incredibly busy behind the scenes managing enquiries and planning for the new academic year across both of our settings in Swinton and Salford.

Sonia the bee has been buzzzzzzing around all day 🐝

Today at KENEX After School Club, we had a buzzing time celebrating National Bee Day! 🐝🌼
The children enjoyed a fun-filled session packed with bee-themed activities, creative crafts, games, and lots of smiles and laughter. We spent time learning about the important role bees play in nature while having plenty of fun with our friends along the way.

As you can see from the photos, everyone had an amazing time and there were lots of happy little bees buzzing around the club all day! Thank you to all the children for making the celebration so special. 💛🖤

Today is National Bee day🐝🐝

Here at our Salford setting we have had lots of fun celebrating our bees!!

The children have enjoyed a range of bee themed activities and learning about bees.

We have ‘bee’n on a bee scavenger hunt around the room. Some children worked as a team and one child managed to find all ten all by himself!

We taste tested some honey and spoke about where we get our honey from; we had mixed opinions about the taste of honey☺️

Some children had lots of fun making bee bracelets and other accessories.

We created our very own hexagon shaped jigsaw to try and challenge our children but they were just too clever and managed to complete it anyway, we were so impressed!!

A day filled with fun and new knowledge gained all around😁😁

This is on our to do list 👀

Such a simple setup using ramps (make your own using cardboard if you don’t have any of these), paint and balls - but so much learning, curiosity and joy through the process.
