There’s no secret formula.
It’s one of the biggest things myself and clients deal navigate through.
However there is ways in which you can maximise your progress while maintaining a business/career.
It shouldn’t be seen as an all out blocker for progression.

What sets me apart from other coaches?
Passion.
I’m equally, if not more passionate about my clients success than they are themselves.
That success in my eyes is a lasting, life changing result.
Anyone can starve a client into an 8 week transformation.
But who really benefits?
That’s the current industry, but that’s not why I got into this game.
My goal is simple.
To be the last coach a client works with.
To truly educate a client through every aspect of their of their training journey.
To set them up in a way in which they understand every phase they need to undertake to achieve the physique they crave.
To be a constant support throughout every aspect of their journey.
That’s why I got into this game, and that’s what drives me to continuously improve my service level.
Right now I’m blessed to be working with the most driven group of individuals I’ve seen.
Immense to catch one of my highest performers hard at it and currently in the shape of her life.

If you always run a 100m sprint with people you know you’re faster than..
You will always win, but you’ll never get faster.
If you always run a 100 meter race with people who are faster than you..
You’ll probably not win ever, or for a very long time.
But you will continuously get faster.
The exact same is true for your environment.
Environment is key.
It is such a powerful facilitator in success.
If you’re surrounded by people whose baseline habits are your aspirational behavours, you’ll get dragged up to that level of the group.
Start looking and actively searching for people who think in the same way as you, who hold the same values and aspire to be the greatest version of themselves.
This will pull you on, inspire you, and ultimately provide you with the motivation you’re searching for.
It’s the sole reason I built a community of likeminded driven individuals within my programmes.

Basic Programming 101:
Are you doing enough weekly volume in terms of number of sets?
Generally anywhere between 6-20 sets on average (individual recovery capability comes in to play).
How it’s arranged in your split is again person dependent. You could hit 1 set 6x a week (full body) or 10 sets per day 2x a week (upper/lower - P/L/L)
Is there enough time between sessions?
Are you getting two things?
Overlapping muscle sourness - you want them as close to fully recovered as possible.
Overlapping weakness/fatigue - turning up to session not sore but feeling weak.
If so, spread your volume across the weak or decrease total volume of that muscle.
On the flip side you don’t want to spend longer than necessary in a recovered state.
If you’re ready to go back in, no longer sore and you feel good and strong, but taking long breaks in-between sessions - we’re missing out on potential growth and adaptation.
“I need recovery” - recovery from what? If you’re recovered, you’re recovered.
Frequency is king for most - again training age and individuality plays its part.
If you’ve got the recovery capability to train at a higher volume research does suggest a higher frequency approach leads to better gains.
However be careful of the inverted U effect of more is not always better.
Nail the basics - then worry about a more efficient split when progress doesn’t come at the rate you desire.

Can you have all 3?
A well crafted physique, a successful business/career and a thriving relationship?
I truly believe you can.
Will the focus shift slightly into one or two of these areas at a point?
Inevitably.
When one area needs attention to bring it inline with the standard across the board.
To use any of these pillars as an excuse to be lacking in the others is in my opinion, farcical and a shift in responsibility.
This is one of the key aspects we work on within the programme.
Becoming the best version on all fronts and delivering a plan to thrive in every aspect of life.
Society will have you believe you’re chasing a fairy tale if you want to achieve this.
My current circle of high performers are walking proof.
You are no different, you just haven’t found the strategy yet.

We live in an Information Age.
An age in which any problem we have, there is 1000s of potential solutions and methods of action behind a screen.
You can spend hours reading or listening to experts in every field.
You can draw comparisons between literature and practice.
The question remains..
What are you doing with what you already know, to work on the problems you currently have?
If the answer is not enough?
I’d say with certainty you don’t have an information problem.
You don’t even have a “mindset” issue.
You have an implementation problem.
If you want to fix that;
Then it’s time for you and me to get to work.

It’s Friday 4pm - the time most give up on the week.
You still have a THIRD of the week left.
30% still remaining.
30% more time to get ahead.
Time is your most precious commodity.
Don’t waste it just because society tells you it’s time to down tools.
Incredibly proud to say my team refuse to buy into this ideology.
That’s what separates them from their peers.

Believe me when I say I’ve made every mistake in the book to this point.
I’ve made them so you don’t have to.
It took years of mistakes.
Years of learning.
Years of working under numerous coaches.
And guess what?
I continue to learn and expand my knowledge base.
That’s the beauty of this game.
But trust me when I say there is always a quicker route than trial and error.

The person you spend the most time with is yourself.
Don’t lose their respect.
Make sure you’re looking after that relationship, show up for yourself.
Keep your word to yourself and keep your promises for yourself.
Someone doesn’t hold the word it speaks volumes by the individual.
Can you with certainly say you’re living your life to the fullest when every chance your given you take the easy wrong over the hard right?
Focus on the small things and they make the big difference.
Brick by brick build yourself into the person you want to be.
You build right, you keep your promises and your life changes for you.
