After a BIG day of filmmaking we're rounding it off with 2 hours of work with the sponsored filmmaker and his crew!

It's visualisation time, here's Oliver sharing his vision with the crew, imagining what a very important scene will look like in his first film "SCREEN TEST".

Olivers looking for actors! Please share!

Do you know anyone 16-18 who'd like to star in a film?

This is the perfect project. Produced by The Independent Filmmakers Academy and directed by the sponsored filmmaker: Oliver Parr.

The film:

Screen Test, is about a young filmmaker who attends a house party with the hopes to finally get the girl.

He's casting for all principal, supporting and background actors.
If you have headshots and a showreel please send them to [email protected] for the audition materials.

(if you don't have headshots/ showreel but want to act in films, get in touch anyway!)

It will be a self tape to start with, then a group audition.

Filming will be various dates in May! Get in touch, share far and wide, this is a great opportunity for aspiring actors!!

This is very important to us.

and hopefully some positive news for you at a time when everyone's so worried about our young lads.

It's a project we have been running with Oliver (and his mates) to help them make their first short film.

It's been transformational to be in a room, often twice a week, hours on end, teaching film. Not only have I seen the lads grow in skills and confidence in that time but I've learnt so much about the power of filmmaking - and what the process can do for young people.
