St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Academy St Augustine's is a Catholic High School based in St Helens. That is what makes our school community a special place in which to grow and learn.

St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic High School is a wonderful school comprising some 600 students and 70 staff. We belong to a community of Catholic schools across the world, which are rooted in the traditions and heritage of Catholic education. As Headteacher of this school, it is a great privilege to serve our community of students, staff and family, not least because we are a school at the heart of the community, helping to shape and form young people into confident young adults, ready to take their place in the world. There have been many changes in the English education system in recent years, yet the traditional values we uphold, to teach the children what is necessary for life, encourage us to educate our students with meaningful, useful and challenging subjects, that enable them to contribute to our society when they leave us. We provide a curriculum which is dynamic, carefully planned and enriching, to meet the needs of all our students, at every Key Stage. As a Catholic school we nurture our students to become strong, independent young women and men, ready to make a significant contribution to our communities, locally, nationally and internationally, rooted in the goodness of God. Uniform branded items are

1. Blazer
2. Tie
3. PE kit

The government allow 4 items if a tie is included.

Some questions so far

Open blouses are allowed without a tie.

The skirt has not changed.

Girls can wear trousers but they must be appropriate.

If you are in Year 7 and have not received a voucher for a PE kit please pick it up from reception on 3/4th September.
