🌟 School Tomorrow! 🌟

We hope you have all had a wonderful summer and made lots of special memories.
Staff are ready for another brilliant year at Rainford CE!

A gentle reminder that breaktime snacks should be fruit or vegetables only. Please help us reduce waste- no snacks with wrappers.
As for lunchboxes... whilst we encourage healthy choices, there will be no policing of food there...especially not for oreos! 🍪😉 (If you know, you know!)

A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored Sian Collins for our forest school! Last week she took on the challenge and climbed Ben Nevis. 17km to the base and 1,345m of ascent which was foggy, wet, and not the best view, but nothing compared to what the generosity of others supporting her has done for our school.

Thanks to your support, we’re one big step closer to giving the children a forest school space they’ll learn and grow in for years to come. Thank you all so much! 💚🏔️🌳

We are so proud of all that you have achieved during your time at Rainford CE and how much you have grown - you’ve taught us so much and we will really miss you guys in September…we all wish you the absolute best of luck at high school and we know that they’re so lucky to have 30 kids as brilliant as you! 💕

We have had the BEST time watching our Year 6s at the Porridge Pot!!! MASSIVE well done to all of these stage superstars - we’re certain we’ve witnessed a few Lin Manuel Mirandas in the making! 🎭🤣👏

We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this performance so special: parents, the Parish community, audience members…we could go on forever! A special shoutout to Mrs Rigby and Mrs Lawrenson - they really are the director dream team!! And a final thank you to all of the Year 6s for giving us two wonderful nights of laughter, fun, and maybe even a few tears! 🥹❤️

Still can’t believe we’ve only got three more days with this amazing class…🥺💕

Our Year 5s have been chef-ing it up in DT!! 👏🧑‍🍳

This week, they put their cooking skills to the test by making a delicious spaghetti bolognese from scratch! 🍝 From preparing the ingredients to following the recipe carefully, everyone showed fantastic teamwork, independence and enthusiasm. We think they did an amazing job – well done, Year 5! ⭐
