🎉⚽ Huge congratulations to our rising football star, who has been selected to play for East Cornwall SFA U11 boys squad this year. He has also been selected to represent the Plymouth Argyle Elite East Cornwall team, which will in Bruges next Easter!

⭐️Today we said a sad farewell to Mrs Hodkin. It was her last official day at school before enjoying a very well earned retirement. Mrs Hodkin has been integral in bringing music to Treverbyn Academy. Running recorder clubs and singing assemblies as well as supporting our choir and budding musicians with so many extra curricular festivals and performances......all this while being a fabulous TA. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication Mrs Hodkin ⭐️

A busy week of teamwork in Year 4. In Science, the children have been building electrical circuits, played 'Electrical Component Dominoes' and also created wonderful artwork pendants using motors!
To round off their History unit on the Vikings, we went onto the school field to spread ourselves out to the average length and width of a Viking longship, whilst displaying our colourful Viking shields!

👒🎩"Wear the most unusual hat to school tomorrow" 🎓🧢
Year 6 have been working in teams for our Taskmaster challenges.
We are very impressed with their creativity and effort, and have had a lot of laughs and funny looks through the window this morning!

🎉The FOTA Summer Disco is in full swing! KS1 and the Nursery Leavers absolutely loved dancing he Conga (I think the adults rather enjoyed it too 😀).

🏖️🌞Menabilly Class are very proud of themselves (look at those smiles). They have followed instructions bit by bit of how to draw the seaside, linking to our story "Lucy and Tom at the Seaside". 🏄‍♂️🌞
