What a fantastic evening at the Charlestown Carnival! 🌈🖍️

Our Sandy Hill Academy team brought The Crayons That Quit to life, and we are absolutely thrilled to have won Best Mixed Group! 🏆

A huge thank you to everyone who took part – from our amazing children and families to our brilliant staff. Your enthusiasm, creativity and team spirit made it such a special event.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to everyone who lined the streets and cheered us on. Your support meant so much and helped make the evening even more memorable.

Chestnut Class had a fantastic time visiting Maple Class for their transition morning, diving into some fun activities to get a feel for life in Year 2. It was lovely to see their excitement as they explored their new learning environment and settled in so comfortably ahead of September!

A great time was had by our Key Stage One Sandy Stars reward winners at their trip to the park. We are so proud of them all.🤩👏✨⭐️🌟💫

Holly Class enjoyed an exciting day of computing and science. They practiced their typing skills, developing their speed and accuracy. In science, they investigated different materials to see which was the most absorbent. They made great predictions and carried out a fair test. 👩‍🔬 🧑‍🔬 💻

Well done to the final Sandy STARS of the year. You’ve all stood out for the right reasons! Special mention to Year Six for their SATS results too! ⭐️ 😃
