🌿 OUT OF OFFICE 🌿

Pixie Studios Theatre School is taking a short Summer break (this was due to be posted last week, so clearly I’m already in relaxed mode..)

Not because the work stops being important, but because taking time to rest is just as important as working hard.

As teachers, we’re always giving our energy, creativity and hearts to the children we teach. Stepping away for a little while allows us to recharge, find fresh inspiration and come back with even more ideas, enthusiasm and magic for the term ahead.

It also gives me precious time to be simply Mum ❤️

To make memories with my own children, slow down a little, and remember exactly why I started Pixie Studios in the first place.

Because while I absolutely love what I do, the people I do it all for will always be waiting for me at home.

We’ll be back soon, refreshed, inspired and ready for another exciting chapter.

✨ MEET THE TEAM BEHIND THE PIXIE MAGIC! ✨

People often ask what makes Pixie Studios so special, and while we love our singing, dancing and acting... it's the people behind the scenes who truly make the difference 💚

This summer, we were incredibly lucky to have Miss Grace and Miss Cate join us for our Summer Theatre Camp.

🌟 Miss Grace has most recently starred as Elsa in Greenroom Productions' Frozen and will soon be taking to the stage as Scaramouche in St Albans Musical Theatre's production of We Will Rock You at the Alban Arena this November.

🌟 Miss Cate is currently touring the UK with Peppa Pig and has performed professionally in the West End and theatres across the country.

While we're so proud of their incredible performing careers, what makes them such a wonderful part of the Pixie team is their passion for inspiring children. Both Grace and Cate have extensive experience teaching and working with young performers, creating a fun, nurturing environment where every child feels encouraged to have a go, build confidence and simply enjoy performing.

At Pixie Studios Theatre School, we're passionate about giving children the opportunity to learn from talented industry professionals who not only love performing themselves but also love passing on that knowledge to the next generation.

We feel incredibly lucky to have such an amazing team helping our young performers dream big, fly high and shine on stage. ✨

SUMMER CAMP 2026 ☀️.. and we had the BEST time!

We sang our hearts out, danced until our legs ached, got creative with crafts, played plenty of games, made new friends and, most importantly, created lots of magical memories.

One of the things I love most about our theatre camps is watching children grow in confidence in such a short space of time.

Whether they're centre stage or joining in quietly from the side, every child is encouraged, celebrated and leaves with a smile.

Every day brings a brand new musical adventure, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the week has in store!

SHOW REVEAL PART 1 🎭

"We've been keeping a BIG secret..." 🤫📚

Every September, one of my favourite moments arrives - the moment we reveal our next theatre production.

This year we’ve pulled out all the stops for our next show, so we thought we’d make it a super fun experience for everyone by doing a treasure hunt for each class...

The excitement, the guessing, the squeals (and sometimes even happy tears!) remind me exactly why I love what I do.

This year, our talented Pixies will be bringing Matilda JR. to life at The Maltings Theatre in March 2027, and we honestly couldn't be more excited.

Watching their imaginations already run wild with ideas, songs and characters has been so special.

Here's to another magical adventure together... ❤️

HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY TO MY FAVOURITE BOY 🎉

Pixie Studios was born just one month before I found out I was pregnant with Mason, so they've really grown up together.

He was there from the very beginning, inside me during performances, events and those first-ever classes. By five weeks old (scroll to last pic), he was already coming to theatre camps for feeds every few hours (what was I thinking?! 😂).

Since then, he's joined classes and camps, grown up behind the scenes, and now has to put up with half his school knowing me as "the Pixie lady!"

Pixie Studios and Mason have both become more than I ever imagined, and while I'm so proud of them both... my heart will always choose him.

Happy Birthday dude. I love you more than words can say🎈💙🍰

✨ PURE JOY. PURE ENERGY. PURE PIXIE MAGIC ✨

This dance came together in such a short space of time, but watching these incredible Wednesday Seniors perform it at the Summer Fayre was something really special.

Their energy was absolutely infectious, and they threw themselves into every moment with huge smiles and so much confidence.

What makes it even more emotional for me is that some of these children have been with me since they were Little Pixies and Juniors. I've had the privilege of watching them grow from shy little performers into confident, kind, supportive young people who light up every stage they step onto.

It's never just about learning routines. It's about building friendships, believing in yourself, supporting one another, and finding the confidence to shine both on and off the stage.

I couldn't be prouder of every single one of them 💫

✨ A LITTLE GLIMPSE OF THE PIXIE MAGIC… ✨

Every Pixie Studios Theatre Camp ends with a special performance and a professionally edited video for families to keep forever 🎬

This gives parents a chance to see everything their children have been working on and children a wonderful keepsake to look back on with pride 🎭

And this is just a tiny snippet! Behind the scenes, our campers spend their days singing, dancing, acting, making friends, getting creative with crafts and games, building confidence and creating memories that last long after camp ends.

At Pixie Studios, we don’t just sing, dance and act… we love introducing our children to the exciting world of Acro too! ✨

From forward rolls and backward rolls to handstands, cartwheels, bridges and backbends, our young performers are developing strength, flexibility, coordination and confidence while having lots of fun along the way.

The best part? They don’t even realise how much they’re learning because they’re too busy laughing, supporting their friends and celebrating every new achievement!

Whether your child dreams of being on stage, loves to tumble around the living room, or simply wants to try something new, we’d love them to come and join the fun.
