Just to break down the fill towards the end, RRLLRL repeated 4 times. RR’s and LL’s are double strokes.

Little throwback with the old band, . ‘Under’ from that tasty little EP, ‘Resist’, we released a while back. New sounds will be on the way from the new band, . I’ll catch some vids at the next rehearsal to give you lot a cheeky lil preview.

*The other day|| So, a LOT of kick-heavy groove work today. The point of this post is NOT that it sounds good, by any means. This aim here is to reinforce my point of learning and getting better at the things you love is a PROCESS. It does not happen overnight. By the point I got to recording these (roughly 2 hours into the session after a lot of kick placement/tightening exercises and learning songs for a lil thing and I have got going), I was tired but I thought “ooo that’s a banger, let’s try that”, so video 1 is one of various attempts at ‘Manipulation’ by using heel-toe(one kick pedal). Video 2 is a little outtake (all of these kinda are) that I found kinda funny 😂. Video 3 is some straight up slop along to ‘Crawl The Night’ by Bare Bones, just to torture my right foot more before concluding the session😂

Quick side note: I may look moody, but when it’s me and the kit/pads, I’m happy and all is well. I’m enjoying every second, my face just doesn’t wanna tell that story 😉😂
