It was a pleasure to welcome back our Year 11 students this morning to collect their GCSE results. There was much to celebrate; every student should take pride in what they have achieved, recognising that their results represent their own personal effort, growth and perseverance.
While results day often focuses on grades, here at JFAN we remember that every student's journey is unique. Behind every result lies a story of dedication, resilience and hard work; today we recognised and celebrated the effort each individual has invested.
At Joyce Frankland Academy, our values of Aspiration, Respect and Responsibility are at the centre of everything we do. This year group has demonstrated these qualities time and again, approaching challenges with maturity, supporting their peers and making a positive contribution to academy life. We are incredibly proud of the young people they have become.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our staff, families and carers whose encouragement, guidance and unwavering support have played such an important role in helping our students reach this milestone. Their achievements today are the product of the partnership between home and school, working together to ensure every young person can flourish.
As our Year 11 students take their next steps into sixth form, college, apprenticeships, training or employment, we wish them every success for the future. Whatever path they choose, we hope they leave Joyce Frankland with confidence in their abilities, ambition for what lies ahead and pride in all they have accomplished. They will always remain valued members of our academy community, and we look forward to hearing about the achievements and experiences that await them in the years to come.

Today we celebrate the achievements of our A Level students and recognise the dedication, perseverance and resilience they have shown throughout their studies; each student should be immensely proud of what they have accomplished.
At the heart of Joyce Frankland are the values of Aspiration, Respect and Responsibility, and this cohort has embodied those values throughout their time with us. Their commitment to their studies, support for one another and contribution to academy life have left a lasting impression on our community.
These results carry particular significance as they represent the achievements of the final A Level cohort in JFAN's history following the closure of the sixth form. This group of young people will always hold a special place in our story. They have contributed to a proud tradition of Post-16 education and have helped shape the legacy they now leave behind.
I would like to thank our dedicated staff, families and carers for the encouragement and support they have provided throughout the students' journey. Success is always a shared endeavour, and today's achievements reflect a collective commitment to the young people of this community.
As our students move on to university, apprenticeships, employment and a wide range of exciting opportunities, we wish them every success and happiness in the future. While they may now be leaving us, they will always remain part of our JFAN family. Ours is a school with a rich history, strong traditions and a deep sense of belonging, and we hope they will always know they are welcome back to share their stories, inspire those who follow in their footsteps and remain connected to the community that helped shape their journey.

As we say farewell to members of staff who are leaving at the end of this academic year, whether they are moving on to new opportunities or beginning a well-earned retirement, we would like to express our sincere thanks for their dedication and service to the Academy. We are grateful for the contribution they have made to our community and wish them every success and happiness in the future.
