Our fabulous Year 6 Festival was a huge success and the perfect way to celebrate together! From enjoying delicious popcorn and decorating (then eating!) our own ice creams, to trying our luck at hook-a-duck, there was something for everyone. The music kept everyone smiling, the karaoke performances were full of confidence and fun, and the lip sync battles had us all cheering and laughing. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with friendship, laughter, and unforgettable memoriesβ€”a fantastic way for our Year 6 pupils to celebrate the end of an amazing year together.

πŸ’›πŸ What an incredible year for Haylands Hive PTA! πŸπŸ’›

As another school year comes to an end, we'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to every parent, carer, family member, friend, volunteer and local business who has supported Haylands Hive PTA.

Whether you donated, attended an event, bought an ice lolly, helped at a disco, baked cakes, shopped through Easyfundraising or simply shared our events – every bit of support has made a real difference.

We're already looking forward to another fantastic school year with more fun events, exciting fundraising opportunities and making even more wonderful memories together.

Here's to another great year of Haylands Hive PTA! πŸπŸ’›

Last week our Year 2's went on an amazing day out to Marwell Zoo!

After a short coach journey, we arrived and got to start our adventure.
We spotted all sorts of different species including zebras, giraffes, okapis, a snow leopard and so much more!
We learned about the different animals by reading the information and speaking to some of the zookeepers. Some of the animals were a little bit difficult to spot at first but when we found them the children were amazed!

Well done Year 2 for having such a good day!

Today was our last OPAL assembly of the year.

We took some time to celebrate how for we have come on our OPAL journey and to reflect on all of the changes that have been made.

Mrs Clarke was able to share with the children one of our visions for the next academic year - den building! We watched a clip of another school who have plenty of big 'loose parts' which enable the children to be creative and constructive so that they create their own dens and social spaces. Everyone seemed to be excited by this idea.

Can you help us to create this next stage?
