Hi all

One year on and hopefully at the end of this post, you will be able to see the before and after photos
of the equipment, we have been able to buy due to your generous donations.
Thank you for waiting patiently for updates! ❤️ 🙏

For the outdoor area, we have brought more equipment to play on and with. The trampoline and slide are a favourite of the children ❤️ The new busy boards are a hit with all the age groups, and the stackable cones and guttering are great for building water or ball runs of various heights.

For the sensory room, we have brought more light equipment and sensory panels, mirrors and a new bubble wall. Not everything is used at once and can be added to change the room , so it feels calming.❤️

In the soft play area, we have brought some new balls, soft coloured cubes and various size and shape building blocks. It is amazing what the children can build and how much fun they have with the new pieces. ❤️ 😍

For the classroom, we have been able to buy large foam building bricks that stack together. Also, we brought light weight magnetic shaped panels that the children can click together to build a house or whatever they like.

All of the above items have made a real difference to our children's emotional regulation and their play. Thank you.

Hi all,
Can you believe its been nearly a whole year since Dennie bear, Martin and I started our epic adventure, walking from John O'Groats to Lands End? We started on the 9th May 2025 and completed it on 8th August, 80 days walking with 12 days rest ❤️

Dennie bear set out to raise money to upgrade the sensory room at Denfield Park Primary School, Rushden. The room is used by SEN children to help regulate their emotions. However, it was very basic and in need of some TLC.

Since arriving back at school, changes have slowly been taking place. We have brought equipment for the sensory room, which has been painted and installed.
Our lovely care taker has been busy transforming our garden, and putting new equipment together, purchased with the monies you very generous people have donated!
It is still very much a work in progress, and we are waiting excitedly for few more items for the outside area. ❤️

Dennie bear can't wait to show you beautiful people what your money has been spent on.
You truly have given our amazing children a better space to just be. Thank you ❤️

I would like to let you know, that you have helped Dennie, Martin and I, raise a whopping £2966.41 for our schools sensory room! ❤️ 😍
How incredible are you all in helping raise this amount of money for the sensory needs of our amazing children. ❤️ 😍
The money did not just come from the Go fund me page, but also from sponsor form donations, and generous people we met on our travels. I have included their names on the sponsor forms to show their part in the fantastic total. ❤️

We have some great ideas for new equipment, and look forward to being able to purchase them.

Next year's Hiking & Yoga adventure is now fully booked so thanks everyone looking forward to guiding you into remote mountains and beautiful nature.

Retreat into nature for a week in the Turkish mountains. Guided mountain hikes into lovely remote areas on the Lycian Way & yoga classes with mountains in view. Fantastic Turkish cuisine and relaxing accommodation with pool. Massage & hammam trip. Even paragliding opportunities. Swimming in the sea and remote beach. Only £750 sharing with one other or £1000 single occupancy. Only 3 spaces now available April 28th - May 5th 2026. This really is a great trip for the price.

Hi all.
I can't believe it has been nearly a week since we finished our adventure with Dennie bear 🐻 ❤️
Both Martin and I feel like we have a hangover, not properly awake and a bit surreal 😆
Walking, eating, sleeping, repeat, became our routine for nearly 3 months, and now it has ended it feels so strange....

Anyway, what I really want to say is a big thank you to the three lovely couples who offered Dennie, Martin and I, a place to stay and wash our clothes. These beautiful people, who we met for about an hour are;
Janet Jones and Alen Turner, a lovely couple from North Wales. We walked together for a while on the John O'Groats Trail. ❤️
Sandi and Neil from Trevarren, near Newquay. We also met this lovely couple near the start of our walk. ❤️
Tom and Jackie Williams from outside Nottingham. We met this lovely couple at Neptune's Staircase and we all watched the Jacobite steam train coming into the station. ❤️

A big thank you to all the beautiful people who shared a chat as we passed, gave best wishes and support along the way. It was lovely to meet all the walker's on the different trails, and all the LEJOGers. It was great to hear that they have all completed their walks! Well done!! 🙌👍🤩 It has been an incredible journey made even better by the wonderful people we have met.
Also a massive thank you to all the people who have followed us on Facebook. You have been so kind and supportive to us. Bless you all. ❤️

Hi all. Day 92 The finale, Penzance to Lands End. 13.75 miles with wanderings round stone circle!
80 walking days.
12 rest days.
1100 miles (according to Marts phone! 😉)
Today felt strange as we left our little land pod, and made for the road. We headed towards the coast path and met with cycle route 3. This route took us to Newlyn and Mousehole, places we had never been before. They are really nice and deserve to be visited for longer than we could give. The weather was better than yesterday, so we had a great view of St. Michael's Mount from Newlyn harbour. We followed the quiet roads to a footpath, which lead us to the Merry Maidens stone circle. Passed Tregiffian Burial Chamber and on to Sennen Cove, then on to Lands End to finish what we started 3months ago!!
Lands End was busy but not crammed. We signed the End to End book at the Hotel and had our pictures taken. It was very strange and almost surreal, that we have been away so long .
We did it!! Dennie Bear has been from one end of the UK to the other!! Awesome. Thank you so much for your support on our journey. Will post tomorrow.
