Our last visit to the Library was probably one of our best!!! πŸ™‚

The children thoroughly enjoyed the session and impressed our Librarian with our impeccable behaviour and enthusiastic singing!!

We are incredibly proud of you! 🌟

Thank you to Ellie for delivering the session - you did a brilliant job!!!

A huge thank you to our parents, grandparents and carers for joining us - we couldn't do this without you ❀️

Today we introduced our topic - Dinosaurs.
We were amazed to receive a parcel in the post from one of the Mummy Dinosaurs in our focus text Gigantasourus.
The children were very excited to receive a special delivery and spent a long time trying to guess what was in our parcel, especially as it had warning labels of 'Fragile' 'Handle with care' or 'Might make a noise' written on the side.
Imagine their delight when we opened the box and found a letter from the Mummy Dinosaur asking us to look after the baby dinosaurs. Inside the box was a dinosaur nest filled with eggs. Each egg had a child's name on. The children have all taken home an egg to look after for the remainder of this half term.
Please could you help your child to find out about their dinosaur - what it is called, what it eats and it's habitat. Please add pictures and facts to Tapestry. Thank you
( Ps if your child wasn't in today, they will be given their dinosaur tomorrow! ) πŸ¦–πŸ¦•πŸ¦–

This half term our topic is Dinosaur themed. Please make a note in your diary of a free event that you might like to take your Pre Schooler to.

We are so proud of Class N. Today during our phonics lesson the focus was finding rhyming words - star/car, hat/cat. By the end of the day most of the children were able to think of their own rhyming pairs. ⭐
Please accept our apologies - now that they have understood the concept they can't stop!!! So by now you will be cursing us and desperate for some peace! 😜

We are proving to be a popular Pre School of choice!
Sessions for this academic year are now full and we already have 10 children on our waiting list for September 2024 with more joining us in January and April 2025.

For the parents of children on our waiting list, we will be in touch at the end of May 2024 to organise Taster sessions.

If you are looking for a Pre School for your child and would like to arrange a visit, please contact us on 01928 563089.

Today we bid farewell to our ducklings. The children have loved the whole hatching experience. Well done Class N.

First swimming lesson for the ducklings!!!

Five Little ducks.
This morning we were relieved to see that our last duckling, who struggled to hatch yesterday, was all fluffy, alert and desperate to join the others.
I have attached a video of all 5 of them together.
The children have thoroughly enjoyed the experience so far and can't wait to hold a duckling next week and help them to take their first swim.

Today we dressed up for World Book day. We loved to see all of the costumes.
Thank you to our Class 5 and Class 7 buddies for sharing stories with us. We hope that you enjoyed sharing our Rhyme Time with you.
Well done everyone!

The last little duckling has finally hatched. It needed some assistance and Mrs Arikboga was able to help. The duckling is resting overnight in the incubator - which we have placed inside the cage so that it can see it's siblings.
We will put them all together tomorrow 🀞
I have attached a video of the other ducklings exploring!! πŸ₯šπŸ¦†

Breakfast Time!!!
The little ducklings are bravely exploring and looking for food!
Just waiting for the last duckling to hatch! 🀞

Another one on the way. Hatching in progress!! πŸ¦†

Something special has happened in the night!!! Two of our ducklings have hatched!!.
Tiptoe into Nursery this morning!!!

Examining the eggs for cracks!!! Tomorrow is hatching day! We can't wait!

This Thursday is World Book Day. The children may dress up as their favourite character.
If you are stuck for ideas the book we are reading this half term is Jack and the Flum Flum Tree and our theme is pirates - so jeans and a t shirt would be perfect for either. Another idea is for your child to wear their pyjamas, bring their favourite book and be a bedtime story.
We know that some children do not like to dress up and would prefer to come to Nursery in their uniform - this is more than ok to do. So please do not feel that your child has to dress up!

Look what's arriving at Nursery next week!! We are so excited!!! πŸ₯šπŸ¦†
Hatching day should be on Wednesday!!

Just to remind parents/carers that Pre School will be closed on Tuesday 27th February 2024.
This is to allow all of our Pre School staff to attend Talk Boost training - a new initiative in Halton.

Polite reminder.

Nursery closes at 12:00 noon tomorrow. Thank you

Our Story

We are a 20 place facility. Our core hours are 9:00am - 3:30pm, with breakfast club, wrap around lunch care and after school care an option on request which makes childcare available from 8:00am-6:00pm Monday - Friday. We have experienced qualified staff who work tirelessly for the children and families in our care. We are fortunate to be attached to a Nurturing school and believe that every child is important. We share our outdoor space with Class R which means for those children going on to The Brow CP School that transition is seamless.
