🌿 Welcome to Little Acorns Preschool 🌿

At Little Acorns, we provide a nurturing, child-centred environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and learn through curiosity and play.

We offer funded spaces and create meaningful opportunities for children to gain real-life experiences that help them understand the world around them. From visits by local professionals and occupations to caring for our preschool pet, children develop confidence, responsibility, and a sense of wonder as they learn.

Our little learners enjoy growing plants, exploring nature, and taking part in hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity and encourage questions. Alongside this, we place a strong focus on supporting children's emotional well-being, helping them recognise, understand, and express their feelings in a safe and caring environment.

Through a range of engaging activities, we develop essential early years skills including communication, independence, problem-solving, creativity, and social development. Our aim is to help every child build strong foundations and feel confident as they prepare for their next step into a nursery or school setting.

At Little Acorns, every child is valued, every achievement is celebrated, and every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. 🌱

Preschool have some wonderful learning opportunities this week, our planning buddies have created a wonderful observation area for our caterpillars making it interactive with lots of learning opportunities. We have included the children’s sparks and used this to support some areas of the children’s termly next steps as-well. 🐷🐛🐚🦈

The last part of summer term has started ☀️
We have some little friends to look after, and we will be learning about our sparks of some children interest of ‘bugs’. We are also have transforming our garden, to help create a wonderful learning environment. 🪴🐞🦋🐛

Little Acorns preschool has a range of sessions for your child, as well as accepting 15 and 30-hour funding.
We are a term-time only setting located on Icknield Walk.
