☀️ And just like that, another school year comes to an end! ☀️

A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for your incredible support, and for the lovely gifts and messages you’ve shared with our staff.

Highfield is a wonderful place to work, not only because of our fun, resilient, and challenge-loving children, but because we have the support of all of you.

Attendance Awards

Good attendance helps children learn, build friendships and feel part of our community.

Today we celebrated lots of children receiving Bronze, Silver and Gold attendance awards — well done to every child who’s been working hard to be in school regularly.

A special shout-out to:
🤩the two children who achieved 100% attendance for the entire year — that’s outstanding dedication!
🤩the winners of our prize draw who each received a £10 Metro Centre voucher — enjoy your treat!

Year 3/4 started the day with a round of golf on Tuesday! ⛳️ We have been learning about this sport in PE - learning some of the rules and skills. We put it in to practice and the kids were great - using ‘rollers’ to direct the balls to the ‘sticky holes’. Maybe they can impress you with some crazy golf in the summer!

What a night! Full of emotion and pride! As a school we want them to leave us full of confidence and self belief, they showed that in bucket loads on that stage tonight! Let’s make sure nobody ever puts them in a corner!
